The parent or the legal guardian is responsible for any financial obligations incurred in a child’s treatment.
All accounts for professional services rendered are payable on the day of service. Payments can be made by cash, Eftpos, Mastercard, VISA, Amex. Credit card payments can also be taken over the phone.
Major treatment including treatment under general anaesthetic is to be paid in full no later than two weeks before treatment.
Fees for services rendered are the same for all patients, whether they are insured or not. For payment using your Health fund card you may use the HICAPS terminal at our clinic. Alternatively, a payment receipt with an itemized invoice may be issued to you for reimbursement from your insurers.
Where extensive treatment is required, we partner with Denticare to offer interest-free deferred payment plans. Denticare plans are simple, flexible and are tailored to suit your needs. Please contact us for further information.
The CDBS was introduced by Medicare as a means-tested scheme to provide financial support for basic dental services for children aged between 2 and 17 years of age. Eligibility is determined solely by Medicare. To check if you are eligible please contact Medicare on 132 011. Please note that First Consultation and General Anaesthetic dental services are not covered by the CDBS.
