Dr Vicky Law first opened her specialist paediatric dental practice in Brisbane North in 2007, originally known as Chermside Paediatric Dental Care. To extend our services to more families, a second branch was opened at North Lakes in 2016. In 2025, the practice was rebranded to Growing Smiles Paediatric Dentistry to better reflect our commitment to creating positive dental experiences for children, because we believe that early, happy visits can lay the foundation for a lifetime of healthy smiles. Our practice is thoughtfully designed with children in mind, featuring cheerful décor and engaging activities to help little ones feel relaxed and comfortable.
At Growing Smiles Paediatric Dentistry, we believe that every child deserves a healthy smile. Our caring and dedicated team, consisting of a specialist paediatric dentist and oral health therapist, provides high-quality, efficient, and personalized dental care. We focus on supportive preventive care to meet each child’s individual oral health needs.
We welcome all children and their families, and no referral is necessary to visit us. Make Growing Smiles Paediatric Dentistry your child’s dental home!
I grew up in Brisbane and completed my dental degree (Bachelor of Dental Science) at The University of Queensland in 1999. After that, I worked in both private practices and Queensland Health dental clinics in Brisbane and Gold Coast before furthering my training in Paediatric Dentistry.
I am a registered specialist paediatric dentist. I completed a Graduate Certificate in Clinical Dentistry, majoring in Paediatric Dentistry in 2002 and a Master of Dental Science in Paediatric Dentistry at The University of Queensland in 2005. I also gained my Fellowship to the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons.
In 2007, I started Chermside Paediatric Dental Care and combined my clinical work with an appointment as a visiting specialist at The Dental School, The University of Queensland from 2006 to 2011. During that time, I lectured and demonstrated to undergraduate students in Paediatric Dentistry. I have also been invited to present in local dental study club meetings. I regularly attend paediatric dental conferences to keep up to date with current treatment philosophies and aim to provide scientifically evidence-based treatment options to my patients.
I am a member of the Australian Dental Association, Australian and New Zealand Society of Paediatric Dentistry (ANZSPD), and Australasian Academy of Paediatric Dentistry (AAPD), International Association of Paediatric Dentistry (IAPD) and International Association of Dental Traumatology.
Outside of dentistry, I enjoy spending time with my husband and son, as well as wider family and friends. I love traveling, practicing yoga, cooking, and playing the piano.
